Silent Disco
The Banyan Silent Disco is an immersive, high-energy experience where guests step into a shared sonic world through wireless headphones connected to a live DJ on site. While the dance floor appears quiet from the outside, participants are fully engaged, moving together in rhythm, united by music only they can hear. An experience where sound lives in your headphones and the dance floor becomes a world of its own. Multiple channels, shifting rhythms, and a sea of moving bodies create a surreal, immersive environment where everyone is dancing together but in their own sonic universe.

Banyan Gala
The Banyan Gala is an evening of connection, artistry, and celebration at the Banyan Dance Festival. Guests are welcomed with a curated cocktail hour, followed by an exclusive preview of select dance works, offering an intimate first look at the bold choreographic voices featured throughout the festival. The evening continues with a reception featuring light bites and refreshments, where guests can meet and mingle with choreographers, Banyan Dance Company artists, invited performers, sponsors, and partners.

9:30am - 10:45am | Open Adult Ballet with Jason Maison
This class is appropriate for Beginner - Intermediate dancers. The instructor will offer options based on the various levels of students in attendance. Learn in a judgement free and positive space. This is the perfect class for dancers who have had some experience in the Beginner level ballet classes and are looking for a little more of a challenge in their dance journey!

11:00am - 12:15pm | Advanced Contemporary with Ashley Green
Train with featured guest artist Ashley Green of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in this dynamic contemporary class designed for advanced dancers ages 14 and up. Rooted in athleticism, musicality, and expressive movement, Ashley’s class offers dancers the opportunity to deepen their artistry while learning from one of today’s leading contemporary performers. Offered as part of the Banyan Dance Festival Community Series, this class is donation-based, pay what you can, with all contributions helping support Banyan Dance Festival’s mission to make exceptional dance education and artistic experiences accessible to the community.
